SENSITILE SCINTILLA

Scintilla is 100% acrylic, available as tiles and in panels up to 1220 mm x 2440 mm in clear and 5 standard colours. Made up of two parts – light conducting “channels” and a slab within which the light channels are embedded – Sensitile uses fibre-optic principles of total internal reflection to transmit oncoming light and shadow from one point to another. This results in a shimmering and sparkling product, with light and colour dispersed in response to movement and shadow.

Sensitile Scintilla (lumina)

Scintilla (lumina) is a variant on the standard Scintilla product. Designed to be edge lit, a single point of light is diffused into thousands, creating a luminous panel. Scintilla (lumina) integrates a surface with a light source creating new possibilities for defining space. Further details of this product can be found within the Sensitile Scintilla brochure above.

Sensitile Terrazzo

The award winning Terrazzo interacts with light differently than other materials creating a distinctive, sparkling surface. Utilising acrylic light guides embedded within a highly durable micro concrete, a magical, apparently random optical effect can be achieved. Available as tiles, and in custom slabs up to 2440 mm long. Concrete colours include grey, white, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet.

Sensitile Terrazzo (lumina)

Terrazzo (lumina) combines the durability of concrete with a light source. Light can travel the length of the Terrazzo (lumina) slab in any colour sent from its source, resulting in a radiant countertop or table top, or even floor tile. Sensitile Jali

Inspired by traditional Indian perforated stone screens, Jali is a range of light refractive polymer panels available in a range of designs and colours. Carved with ethereal, lacelike patterns, Jali panels bend light and create whimsical shadows. Standard panel size is 1220 mm x 2440 mm. Applications include room dividers, signage, wall coverings and furniture.
